Resignation and Resilience

As we move into the seriousness of September there is much to consider and explore.  The themes of resignation and resilience are playing out all over the world and, most importantly, on our streets.  There are those who are empowered to create change, those who are protesting about the changes needed, and those who have no faith that the future will be any different than the present.  For those who have lived beaten down lives, struggling against so many odds just to survive, motivation can be strangled by despair, and apathy can become a way of life.  But all it takes is one life-changing, almost unbelievable life-affirming experience, where your life matters, where your needs are addressed in the ways you need them to be, where you are given the power to rise up and rise out of where you have been, where you are completely respected for who you are, not where you have been, and suddenly everything about life looks and feels different.  Choices appear.  Opportunities emerge.  Possibilities become realistic.  A way forward manifests.  This is where resilience lives.

The Cosmic Light Collective likened resignation to cancer in that it eats away its host.  Hopelessness has its own power.  It creates resentment, born of repetitive spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical wounds.  It corrupts memories until the smallest slight turns into the greatest unforgivable insult.  And, then buries all of this in a despair so deep that it incapacitates its host from engaging in any life-affirming activity.  Life begins to decompose, bit by bit, moment by moment.  Eventually, when the cancerous resignation has grown enough to be seen, it can be diagnosed and treated.  It takes impending death to bring new life.

Resilience can be used not only to treat resignation but also to prevent it.  Our Souls are the ultimate resilience generators because they have been regenerating us for lifetimes.  Our Souls equip us with what we require to resiliently address the circumstances of our lives before we are born.  Regardless of what race, social class, or location we are to reincarnate into, our Souls have provided us with the constitutional characteristics to fulfill ourselves and serve others.  Now is the essential time for us to have meaningful conversations with our Souls about how to access these internal tools for success.  This is not a lifetime in which we can stand on the sidelines.  We are all on the coronavirus playing field, whether we like it or not, and we have to decide what position or positions we are going to play.  If we don’t, we will simply get run over and our lives will be surrendered to the playbook of someone else, who most likely, does not care about your life or your loved ones the way you do.

The Cosmic Light Collective described the elements of resignation and resilience being played out in the United States of America through our presidential election on the August 28th call.  They described the current administration as a jackhammer breaking up the old foundations to make way for the new.  They described the need for the next administration to create the new foundation, to encourage and ignite individuals to reclaim their personal power and rebuild their self-esteem.  Only then can we accept the reality that the United States of America is a nation of immigrants whose faces and languages
continually change over time.  Our diversity makes us not only who we are, but guides us into who we become as a society, culture, and global leader because we embrace the best we have to offer to each other.  Immigrants are greatly resilient human beings because they are continually recreating their lives to reach fulfillment.  As a nation of immigrants, we can draw upon that history of resilience and chose life-affirming policies that protect and promote safety and abundance for all.  Consider the resilience shown by your ancestors.  What did they sacrifice to come to these shores?  How did their lives change because of it?  How much did they value their right to vote?  How can you honor them now in this election?

There were many more questions asked about the political landscape of the United States of America on this Shine the Light call.  And the answers were insightful and thought-provoking.  Unfortunately, this call did not record.  It stopped shortly after being started so I cannot send you a link.  What I can leave you with is the Cosmic Light Collective’s instruction for you to consider which candidate offers you the most resilience.  Which candidate ignites you to own your personal power, make insightful choices, and support the self-esteem of every citizen?  Which offers you and the nation the possibility of feeling clean, clear, healed, and helped?  Take these questions to your Soul as you release any forms of resignation that may have found a way into your auric field.

I believe in your soul-empowered resilience.  I have witnessed it and I know you to be considerate, thoughtful, and helpful individuals doing what you can to make life better.  You find ways to break through resignation with inspiring acts of unconditional love.  May our country find its way into the powerful healing of resilience this November.
