When connection takes the place of conflict we will be well on our way to healing the long-standing and short-term wounds of this nation.  But for now, if we can just step back from the derision and chaos long enough to calm down, we can gain new perspectives that offer insight, comfort, and deep awareness.  This transmission occurred on November 4th as the nation was monitoring the election results hour by hour and sometimes minute by minute.  It is now obvious that instead of shared values, there are two opposing forces playing out in this nation.  The Cosmic Light Collective noted that there are still pockets of common ground where the values that support the governance of every citizen still exist.  But for the most part, they observed two camps, one is concerned about “me” and the other is concerned about “we.”  For both sides, the disappointment runs deep, and the loss of what each camp holds dear hurts.   Listening without judgment, they say, is the first step.  In general, a natural disaster such as Covid-19 would unite the citizenry because you need to care for each other in a national emergency.  But this time, what could still become a great equalizer, is highlighting great economic and social disparities that are continuing to fuel the arguments for both the “me” and “we” camps.  We have the opportunity to ask ourselves what it is that we truly need from each other and find multiple ways to arrive at the same destination.

The consequences of the coronavirus impact every area of life and none more so than financial stability.  The Cosmic LIght Collective reminded us that the money that lands in our hands has traveled through many other hands before it arrives.  As money continues to move through our hands it leads to the well-being of all around us.  Held onto in fear and greed, finance can become a weapon of destruction aimed at those identified as vulnerable and unable to recognize the consequences of manipulation.  The Cosmic Light Collective asked us what we are willing to let pass through our hands to provide healing.  They posed this question:

What is the process of healing that can create resolution?

The Cosmic Light Collective proceeded to state that justice is not an answer to our wounds because punishment does not create solutions. It perpetuates conflict.  They asked us to consider how many generations have been fighting, without any hope of healing the primary wound, over the punishment that one group doled out upon another.  Who determines what is just and how that justice reveals itself has nothing to do with resolving problems, disagreements, and grievances.  It highlights discrepancies and creates more.  As individuals, the Cosmic LIght Collective encourages us to discover what it is that we need to resolve inside ourselves that may have caused us to act disrespectfully and hurtfully.  Once we understand what motivated us to behave poorly, we can seek healing within and then take responsibility for our actions to those we have hurt, insulted, disappointed, or oppressed.  We can become agents of healing around us.  Our greatest common ground exists in our ability to learn how to care for each other.  Whether we like it or not, our lives are intersecting every day.  Though we may not know the face of the farmer whose food we are eating, or the warehouse worker who packed our latest order, or the technician on the drilling rig that sends oil to our furnaces, these nameless individuals are important to our daily life.  When we become aware of how many people impact the quality of our lives, it can encourage us to figure out how to best care for them so they keep caring for us.  The Cosmic Light Collective puts it this way: Healing brings the resolution that offers the accountability that leads to the adventure of peace.

For all who choose to heal, to create resolution, to facilitate wellbeing, we must offer experiences of becoming that create a bridge from loneliness to connection, from fear to safety, and from lack to abundance.  In the third dimension, individuals seek rewards for jobs well done.  We need recognition and encouragement to focus on our achievements and build upon them.  In the fifth dimension, we serve all those with whom we have the privilege of living.  We are generous by nature, compassionate and hardworking, aware and considerate of where we are, with whom, why we are there, and how we can best be of use.  For us, we appreciate every life form that exists and we honor the contributions each makes to the whole.  We belong to each other and work on our constantly evolving relationships.   The founding fathers and mothers of this nation, understood what it meant to be disrespected and dismissed, so much so that they created a new nation in which those who honored the ability to care for each other could freely belong to each other in peace.  They exhibited a tenacity born of a common vision, aware of the grand experiment they were creating and the possibilities it offered to their children, grandchildren and for all those to follow.  The Cosmic Light Collective noted that Americans are currently facing a cleavage more profound than war itself, a cleavage of identity and values that can strip the coherence of our nation and leave us in pieces.

And yet, here they are guiding us to start processes of healing that become points of resolution through which profound change begins.  Although justice may calm down angry people, it is partnerships in healing that will bring about respectful relationships that can create lasting peace.  The Cosmic Light Collective noted that the founding fathers and mothers had the courage to believe that there was a better way to care for each other and they used that courage to dig deeply within themselves to live the vision of which they were collectively aware.  Now is our time to reignite the courage to go deep within and care about all those who are this nation.  As we serve in appreciation for the privilege to live in the United States of America, we are the still-beating heart of this nation.
