If we only understood the power that lives within us, fear would be powerless over us. There are many who have reclaimed their lives from danger, uncertainty, and destruction, not just in a pandemic but throughout the worst times in human history. We tend to view them as special or extraordinary. Yet the truth is that we all have the same opportunities that they did. We can choose to access the built-in failsafe that all of us are born with. Somehow they dug down very deep into the life in which they were struggling and discovered a powerful mechanism for self-transcendence. Simply put, the courageous choose to experience hope, and those who collapse, have not discovered it. Your ability to experience hope is part of your birthright as a human being and no one and nothing can take it away. No matter how deeply your heart has been broken, how badly your body has been beaten, or how fragmented your frightened mind has become, hope’s power will rise up within you. Here is what the Cosmic Light Collective shared with us about the vibrations of the letters that comprise the word:
H is for your home of Light. There is a power living deep inside of your Soul that has never been lost. Here is where you reconnect with your Soul. Here is where you reclaim the possibilities of being alive.
O is for your originality. You were created with an essential nature that was built for you to successfully meet the challenges that life will present to you. Hope is not the same for everyone because the essential nature of every individual requires uniquely designed opportunities and solutions that are meaningful to them.
P is for practical possibilities. Hope is never about fantasy or illusion. Hope turns on your possibility to create without limitations. It propels you into greater life by consciously using the newly discovered power of your Soul to change your life.
E is for an excited and energized life. This means embracing the excitement of living fully and openly. With the awareness of the possibilities that do exist and the knowledge of the tools with which to fulfill yourself, you move forward. Life gets better. You are energized to live your best life.
The Cosmic Light Collective described hope as the vehicle sitting in the garage of your Soul, waiting for you to open the garage door, get in the vehicle, turn it on, step on the accelerator and begin a lifelong road trip to personal fulfillment. They also noted that although hope is a deeply personal and intimate experience, we can remind each other to awaken it in our most challenging moments. Right now, the world over, we are deeply challenged. Please share this information with anyone who is open to being reminded about the power that is still alive within him or her. Speaking of light and hope, LuminAid Solar Lanterns, are wonderful, sustainable sources of illumination. The solar lights are contained within inflatable plastic squares so that they store flatly. They even offer lanterns that recharge cell phones. Architecture students Anna Stork and Andrea Sreshta designed these lights to provide post-earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. Now this technology is being used by those who most need safe, rechargeable light in over 100 countries around the world. You can participate through the Give Light, Get Light program. Please do not underestimate the power of the light shining within you. Let your light fall on all you meet. Let it gently remind others that even when it seems darker than night, the flame of hope is flickering deep inside them too. And, by the way, I figured out how to offer the recordings without having to request permission! Please accept my apologies for making listening more difficult that it needed to be.
