Your voice is a powerful expression of who you are.  When you listen to yourself do you enjoy the way you sound?  There is a unique quality to every voice that can be as powerful as your physical presence.  We all have experienced phone calls that have changed our lives not simply because of what we heard, but how we heard it.  Consider the next few weeks a phone blitz from your Soul.  We are being challenged to be honest with ourselves and each other at a deeper level of connected transparency.  We are part of each other’s lives in ways that only our souls understand.  When we listen with soulful awareness, we can soulfully respond. Those issues with the neck, throat, and voice box inform us about how healthy our self-expression really is.  Are you finding it easy to lovingly speak your truth?  Do you find yourself choking on your words?  What are you having a hard time swallowing?  Is your throat sore or your voice scratchy?  Each of these is an opportunity to dig deep to discover what stands in the way of the enlightened conversations that can change your life.

This year, the holidays offer us the perfect environment for speaking the truth with compassion and gratitude.  What can you honor about the journey you have taken this year?  What can you honor about the journey your loved ones have traveled?  Our voices can be filled with appreciation for the challenges as well as the blessings.  In our soul-empowerment, we can be kind in the face of egotistic onslaughts.  We can restore the sacred in that which has been desecrated.  We can choose to honestly love in the best ways we know how.   We can listen to what we are saying and express it better.  We can listen to what others are telling us and absorb the information with greater appreciation.  In essence, we can let our Souls communicate through us to find the answers that are egos can never access.

Pots of hot tea and lots of hot chocolate are quite helpful now, not merely to soothe our throats but to also allow us to soulfully connect, to enjoy each other even when we don’t agree.  We need to feel safe in expressing what is important to us with those we care about and those we don’t even know.  It’s time to raise our soul-empowered voices in love for all life on Earth.  What’s the song you choose to broadcast to the world today?  Go ahead and sing.  The Creator gave you a beautiful voice!  We all need to hear it.
