Description

Discouragement and disappointment eat away at our feelings of being loved and knowing support. These powerful states of being jeopardize our sense of self-worth, and challenge the worthiness we feel from those, who we hope, believe in us. The pain, that loss in relationships create, is so powerful that it can literally stop a physical heart. But that pain can never touch your spiritual heart! The heart of your own Soul has, is and always will cherish you beyond measure, no matter how well, or how poorly, you have behaved. This song is a gift from the heart of your Soul to remind you that you are never alone, always supported, and indeed, guided to find the best and most gracious ways to become your best self. Listen to it often when you feel challenged in being loved or loving another. It will help you to connect with the wisdom and power of your heart

Exercise

Take a piece of pink, red, or purple construction paper and draw a large heart on it. Cut the heart out and paste the rest of the construction paper onto a whole piece of card stock so that it creates a firm base. Now cut the heart shape piece of construction paper into smaller pieces, but large enough so that you can write words on each piece. When you have cut all the pieces, begin to write words of encouragement to yourself with a marker. Do not use a pencil. These words need to pop out at you. They can include: listen, trust, feel, worthy, funny, beautiful, strong, powerful. Whatever word comes to you, write it on one of the pieces. When all your pieces are filled with words, take three deep breaths and then say each of the words aloud. These are the pieces of you that need to come back to your heart to help you feel and become whole. Play the song. As you listen, place some glue from a glue stick on each of your pieces and place them back into your heart. Breathe each quality back into your life as you do. When the song ends, pick up your whole heart and hug it.

Meditation

Sit in a comfortable chair low enough so that your feet are touching the ground. Breathe deeply until you feel your body relax into the chair. Gently place both hands over your heart and consciously listen to your heart beating. Allow your hands to feel the pulsing of your heart beneath them. Now imagine that a soft tender pink mist is falling upon and around you. Let this sweet, warm, and comforting energy bathe you. As the pink energies fill up your heart, visualize a beautiful pink bridge emerging from your heart. This bridge connects you with all those choosing to love, support, honor, encourage, and celebrate you. There is no limit to how far this bridge can go. It reaches beyond death to your loved ones, and even reaches out into the Heavens so you can feel the angels and your spiritual guides answering your prayers. Feel their love pouring into you through this pink bridge and welcome it with every pulse of your heart. Play the song. When the song is complete, feel your love flowing through the pink bridge to all those you love. Breathe the love in. Breathe the love out. Breathe the love in. Breathe the love out.
